The PADI Rescue Diver course is an important and crucial step in expanding a diver’s knowledge and experience beyond a recreational level. This course is designed to develop the necessary knowledge and skills for individuals to effectively perform diver rescues and assists, manage diving accident situations and render proper first aid.
You will need to complete several hours of PADI eLearning at home, prior to the course. The $300 PADI eLearning fee can be purchased through our booking page, or directly from PADI.
The course runs over 2 days: First day at our pool or the local beach to learn and practice your new skills, second day at the Poor Knights Islands to implement them in real ocean conditions.

FAQs
I do not hold a first aid certificate, can I get one with you?
Yes - We offer training for first aid course, it is called EFR (Emergency First Response), contact us if you need to get one before starting your Rescue Course!
What should I bring?
Your diving certification, swimwear, towel, sunscreen, warm clothing or a jacket, motion sickness medication if needed, your own dive gear or wetsuit if preferred, reusable water bottle
