We have an overarching duty of care to staff and customers that are in Dive! Tutukaka’s workplace.
Our decision is firmly based on the health and well-being of our staff, customers and community, and is in line with decisions the Government has announced for other industry sectors.
We front foot this situation with honesty, care, and compassion, but also with strength. No one signed up for this, but here we are.

We all very much want to return to a normal awesome world-class experience at the Poor Knights, diving, snorkeling, swimming with the fish, and enjoying our salty, sun-kissed summer.
We believe that a vaccine policy is the best way to keep everyone safe.

Dive! Tutukaka asks that all staff and visitors will need to have the Vaccine Pass.
This is on all our boats, and on all our premises.

We will follow all Health guidelines in our best attempt to keep everyone safe.

This decision will be reviewed regularly, noting the rapidly changing environment and the increasing advances in the management of living with the pandemic globally.
At all levels we are open, the following is part of our Health & Safety Plan.

Hygiene
To keep our people staying safe and well, our staff will be doing the following, and we ask that you do too.
Regularly disinfect surfaces.
Washing and drying hands thoroughly and regularly. Sanitiser is available throughout our premises.
Wearing masks and face coverings.
Staying home if sick – call your GP or Healthline – 0800 358 5453.
As COVID-19 is a respiratory illness if you have had COVID-19 please see a doctor prior to diving.
Our cleaning and sterilisation of equipment is more regular and includes the option for sterilisation in between personal uses.
Contact Tracing
The QR code for the NZ COVID Tracer is visible throughout all our premises and on our boats, and it is mandatory to sign in. We do have contact slips to fill in if you do not have the app.
Social Distancing
We may reduce our boat limits, and we may limit numbers in the inside cabins, and we always will ensure all vessels are well-ventilated.

A guide is not compulsory, and if you and your buddy are familiar with the Islands, and just want to get wet with no assistance, please talk to us - we specialise in tailoring the day to suit.

One metre distancing is recommended, and face coverings are strongly suggested, but you need to be aware that in a wet environment the effectiveness of face coverings may be minimised, and you will be outdoors.

We are stoked to get back out there, but we will not be taking any risks.

We will do everything we can to act as guardians, looking after our staff, and our people.
Please be assured that we will not absolve any responsibility in looking after you on the water.
