Kia ora from Jeroen and myself,

We hope this finds you all well inside your bubbles.

It is officially Day Twenty-nine of the NZ Lockdown 2020.

After much consideration, we have decided that we will not be operational until at Alert Level Two.

It does not feel like the right choice for us until at least then.

Alert Level Three is a grey area for diving and retail, there are many things we can’t do to the standard we would want to, and the fact is, regional movement is still limited, and the majority of people are being asked to stay at home.

We prefer clarity and a clear message and believe that you do too.

He tangata, he tangata, he tangata.

During Alert Level Three we will not be physically open for retail, tank fills, or for any in-house options.

We will be answering phones and emails, as we have throughout Level Four, and will happily take voucher sales, and future bookings, and answer any questions you may have.

There is currently an awesome 25% PADI deal on all eLearning.

We will be making the transition into Level Three very cautiously and will stagger our team times as they arrive to work, practise excellent hygiene, social distancing, and contact tracing.

Together, we will start work on boats and maintenance and prepare for Alert Level Two.

So look forward to Level Two, and plan your trips for when that transition is made - we will still be here.

Until then, remember, our Islands and our people are as durable as a rock pounded by the surf.

He toka tū moana.

x

Kate and Jeroen.

Kia kaha, kia mārū, kia atawhai

(be strong, be calm, be kind)
