Discover Scuba Diving

Details

Designed for complete beginners, this experience gives you the opportunity to try scuba diving in a safe, relaxed, and fully supervised environment. Before your trip, participants will complete approximately 15 minutes of simple e-learning to cover the basic skills and safety information needed for the dive.

Once on board, your instructor will guide you through a short briefing and help you get comfortable with the equipment before heading underwater for one guided scuba dive. To ensure a safe and personalized experience, we keep our groups small with a maximum ratio of 2 Discover Scuba Divers per 1 Instructor.

After your dive, the rest of the trip is yours to enjoy! Spend your time snorkeling, relaxing on the boat, or soaking up the scenery while certified divers complete additional dives.

No previous diving experience is required.

Itinerary

• Arrive at Dive!Tutukaka at 8:00 and board from 8:30.
• Travel from Tutukaka Marina to the Poor Knights Islands.
• Conduct your discover dive at a site chosen by the skipper and crew.
• Time for lunch, hot drinks, snorkelling, relaxing, and soaking up the beautiful views.
• Tour around the islands including archways, cliffs and Riko Riko Cave when conditions allow.
• Return to Tutukaka Marina and arrive between 3:30 and 4:30 pm.
