This course builds and extends your knowledge and experience with regards to wreck diving. You will learn about historical and social value of wrecks, as well as potential hazards, how to identify them, penetration techniques, including using a line and reel.

If you love diving wrecks or would like to try, then this is the course for you.

When you are ready your instructor will take you out on our purpose-sunk wrecks (HMNZS Tui & HMNZS Waikato) to put your new knowledge to the test.

What do I need to supply?

Purchase the eLearning from us - $250 - or pop online and grab it directly from PADI.

  • We’ll get you to complete a medical questionnaire. It is very important that you have no history of asthma, epilepsy, diabetes, heart or lung conditions, or chronic sinus/ear conditions. If you have any of these we will need to see a doctor’s certificate stating that you are fit to dive.

Prescription medication, surgery in the last 12 months, as well as a positive COVID-19 test, are recent additions - please make sure you are good to go on all of these - we hate disappointing people in the morning, 'cos we really want to get you diving!

What's included?

You must be at least PADI Advanced (or equivalent) and over 15 years of age. The course runs over 2 days (4 dives) and includes theory sessions on important issues such as navigating and penetrating wrecks.
