Blue fish, Girella cyanea or in Maori, Kororkoropounamu.
Size: 75 cm
Shallow reefs and amongst boulders. Eat small invertebrates and seaweed.
Graze amongst boulders using their tricuspid (three pointed) teeth to scrape crustaceans, tube worms, and brittlestars from the rocks.
