2005 Water Sports Day, not many schools are lucky enough to have this kind of natural playground!

Each year, Ngunguru School holds a Water Sports Day. All the children can experience a water based activity with expert supervision. There is surfing, kayaking, waka ama paddling, sailing, Coast Guard trips, speed boat rides, sand castle building, and of course the snorkeling!
Each year we see more and more water confidence in the kids as they move through the school, very important for a small coastal community.
