We love working (and playing) alongside the thriving Tutukaka Coast community.
Our business is a small part of a vital community. Our coast, our people, our schools - we’re all working together, helping each other build sustainable futures.
Dive! Tutukaka and their team are “Friends of the School” and do as much as we can to support them. Not just in our unique marine program taking all the 200 children out to the Poor Knights to experience their own backyard, but in other ways too.
We have run the snorkel component of the Annual Water Sports Day for 6 years, providing the senior school with printed uniforms to travel to the Outdoor Pursuits Centre in Tongariro, sponsoring Derby Soap Box races, supplying trips to raffle and supporting various fundraising events and auctions.
Dive! Tutukaka has initiated a long-term project to ensure every child at the school completes a full scuba dive at the Poor Knights Islands, and learns about the importance of Marine Reserves.
Dive! Tutukaka sponsors this innovative Northland marine education programme, which brings school children and community groups face to face with the marine environment.
We partner with the Department of Conservation on a number of issues.

Jacky HazelwoodThank you for a great couple of days diving. I dived with you for 2 days last week on the El Tigre, it was my first time diving in New Zealand. The Poor Knights offers some beautiful diving. I definately want to come back for some more and I would love to dive with your company again. You will probably remember me because I had a bit of a problem with the wetsuit I was using - I can only thank Craig for his encouragement and help so that I continued with the dive and Kate and Laura’s help to ensure that I had a better fitting wetsuit for the following day.
Everyone was so helpful and knowledgeable - from the briefings to the hot soup after the dives I couldn’t have asked for better. I will certainly be recommending you to anyone I know visiting NZ.
