Tutukaka Anniversary Weekend, 20th and 21st February 2010
Weather Report for Saturday the 20th February, and Sunday 21st February 2010
Southerly 15 knots, dying right off to a lovely 10 knorts from the ENE. The swell sits at about a metre from the North east, as the tail of that cyclone passed over yesterday.
The next week looks pretty settled, with a 10-15 knot steady breeze from the E, ESE at times.
The swell stays at about a metre, for most of the week.
Nice and constant, 21 degrees on the surface, and very blue water, at about 20 plus metres.
Awesome week to dive!
Tutukaka Anniversary Weekend is this weekend, and we have declared ourselevs a Republic! Pay no GST in the Republic of Tutukaka when you visit this weekend, and watch out for more stuff from the Republic.

Our boats go 364 days of the year unless weather conditions prevent us from going. We have a strong eye on the coast up here, and often the pattern is different out at the Islands.
Our experienced crew make the call on the morning of the dive day, generally around 7am.

Philippa Bennett, River Rats Raft & KayakI came diving with 3 of my friends on Feb 3rd 09. I wanted to write and thank you for a wonderful time!
It was the first dive I have completed after doing my Open Water course so I was very excited & a little nervous. The staff on the boat were very helpful, friendly and attentive, especially as I was feeling a little sea sick. The instructors took the time to evaluate everyone individual needs which was very reassuring especially for a novice like myself. Also thank you for the endless cups of tea!
The skipper, Craig, was great!
I was very impressed by the beautiful Poor Knights Islands, what a great place to visit, dive & work at!!! I was truly awed by a massive sting ray that we saw on our second dive…very cool. It’s also good to see the emphasis on recycling and conservation.
I will strongly recommend Dive! Tutukaka to friends, family and customers.
