Not exactly last seen, but certainly last transmitted!
We are following Tarly's travels with interest. She has travelled a total of 140 kilometres over 4 days.
After her release last week, on the 29th January, Tarly headed south, and has now changed tack and is heading east. Her straight line is on a heading of 114 kilometres in a row.
A logger head turtle about the same size as Tarly was sighted today at Bartle’s Bay in the Eastern side of Aorangi. Just cruising at about 10 – 12 metres. No transmitter, but definite id as a logger head.
Keep an eye on her whereabouts!
