Debbie spotted this teeny fellow at Middle Arch today, and we have not seen it before....have you?
One of Debbie’s dreams is to have a nudibranch named after her. Could this be the one?
Spotted at about 10 metres, in Middle Arch today, this guy is about 15mm long. Debs thinks it is similar to the Janolus mokohinau which has been spotted out here. See second photo from Skip’s site.
If you know what it might be, drop us a line! She is keen to to have a Debbie Welchii

By Kate on 28 Jan 2010Cheers Kev and Skip!
I have several photos of EXACTLY the same little fella (species, probably not the same nudi) at Tye dye arch on Dec 29th.
Same distinctive green with orange tips.
