About Dive! Tutukaka
Does he get a Brick? or does he get a Bouquet?
We held Bright Arrow back for 15 -20 minutes this moning, for one customer with a special request. It deserves a very particular mention, and no names will be made public......
M******* wakes up this morning in his campervan, and drives nice and early from Whangarei Top Ten Holiday Park to Tutukaka, to get ready for his dive day.
He arrives in Tutukaka and checks in with Kate in the morning, but says he has a bit of a problem. M****** is so early, bright eyed and bushy tailed, that he is the first customer in the door, at about 7.30am.
His problem? Well, once he arrived in Tutukaka and parked the campervan, he turned around and looked in the back.
His girlfriend was not in the van.
She had popped out for an early morning pee, and M***** had been so eager to get to his dive shop, he didn’t check she was in the van.
Kate phoned the holiday park, and located the pretty angry girlfriend, and she was a tad annoyed, but Michael raced back to collect her.
He made the distance in record time, and is off diving the Poor Knights today. He even got a round of applause as he boarded Bright Arrow, with the best story we have heard in years.
I wonder if his girlfriend will be here when the boat gets in at 4pm…..?

Allan Brown.On behalf of myself and my brother Robert I would like to express our gratitude to Laura Harron who went beyoud the call of duty to ensure that we had a most memorable diving experience on Saturday 7 February. This was our first dive and I was still suffering from the remnants of a cold but very much looking forward to the dive. I am sure that we were both very poor students but still Laura made sure that we had a successful dive. For myself the dive and sights were awesome.
Thankyou again for a most wonderful and momorable day.
