Weather report for Saturday the 13th and Sunday the 14th of August 2011
Well…..our night dive tonight will be AWESOME with 5 knots variable. Whoot! Whoot! Watch out the Waikato!
Saturday morning dawns nice and easy picking up to a 20 knot easterly by after lunch, and 25 knot southerly by evening.
Sunday sits on that SW 25 knots with a bit of rain too. Not much swell, it is coming from the northeast, about 1.5 metres and dying out on Sunday.
Monday is a bit snotty still with 20-25 knots southwest but Tuesday and Wednesday see that SW dropping into a 15 knot steady breeze, dying out further for Thursday.
Showers are forecast, and it looks like we will get them afternoon and evening on Saturday and clearing by Sunday lunchtime.
Our boats go 364 days of the year unless weather conditions prevent us from going. We have a strong eye on the coast up here, and often the pattern is different out at the Islands.
Our experienced crew make the call on the morning of the dive day, generally around 7am.
Keep in touch with our base 0800 288 882 the day prior to your dive.

Fiona - UkExcellent dive, both Dawn and Sam were very knowledgeable about the area and looked after us. As a novice diver it was much appreciated the care they took of us. Plus the diving was great!
