Over the past year six northland tourism businesses, including four TIANZ members, have participated in a pilot project aimed at improving their sustainability practices. The project is lead by the Ministry for the Environment (MfE) and Enterprise Northland. It’s the first time MfE has partnered with the tourism industry and after great success the project is about to expand.
