• Lobbying for World Heritage Status for the Poor Knights Islands.
• Involved with the Experience Marine Reserves programme at Ngunguru School, and other schools throughout Northland.
• Providing interpretive briefings to create awareness, appreciation and understanding of the environment.
• Create artificial reefs along the Tutukaka Coast (the HMNZS Tui and HMNZS Waikato)
• A PADI ECO-Operator with Environmental, Special Marine Recognition Awards.
